KYOKUSHIN KARATE: Kyokushin Kaikan is Japanese for "the society of the ultimate truth" and was founded by the legendary Sosai Mas Oyama. Saratoga Kyokushin is headed by Shihan James Bruchac (5th degree black belt and IKU Northeast Chairman). Rooted in a philosophy of self improvement, discipline and hard training classes are customized for almost any skill level from kids, women, and business professionals to those looking for hard core martial arts competition. KICKBOXING: While drawing mostly from Kyokushin, which has helped create some of the best fighters in the world, these classes are great for anyone looking to learn highly effective striking techniques. With both non-contact and full contact classes available this program is equally good for those looking for a great workout or competing in kickboxing and MMA. BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU: When speaking of "Ultimate Martial Arts" its hard to ignore the power and influence of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. US Grappling Results
We had another solid performance in our first visit out of the region to Rochester for the US Grappling Tourny.
With only three competitors entering we left with three medals, including 1st place in the white belt absolute!
